"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me'(Mat 25:35-36).
The LKM has a heart to help the poor and needy people who are rejected by the society. With their spiritual needs we are also looking after their physical needs by providing food, new and old clothes, distributing gifts, helping the poor families, orphan children and widows. We believe God put these people on our path to share HIS love in a very practical way."For Christ's love compels us…" (2 Cor 5:14).
Jesus always cared about the poor; He proclaimed the good news and fed the hungry. He had great compassion and love for all the poor and needy (Lk 4:18; 18:22). We find three important things in Jesus' ministry; He loved the people (Mat 9:36), He met their needs (Mat 15:30; Lk 6:17-18) and He taught them in an interesting a practical way (Mat 13:34; Mk 10:1).
This is one of the opportunities that we can serve the body of Christ Together in Pakistan. You can also be part and join the team through your prayers and though your financial contribution. The Scripture says: "A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor" (Prov 22:9). Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? (James 2:15-16).

Let us feed the hungry, help the helpless, as we believe that God is using us to become His Hands and Feet in this broken and needy world.
