Jesus said"…Therefore Go and make disciples of all nations… And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Mat 28:19-20).
Evangelism from the Greek "euangelion" meaning "good news" often translated "gospel"; thus an evangelist is the one who shares the good news. The word Mission comes from the Latin word meaning "to send". Simply the mission is to go out to reach others and evangelism is to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all Nations/People.
The Goal of the ministry is to fulfil the Great Commission (Mat 28:19-20) of our Lord Jesus Christ which includes evangelism and dicipling. Our God is a missionary God. The Church has this mandate to share the love of God to all people through JESUS' sacrificial work on the cross (Jn 3:16, Lk 19:10, Jn 14:6). The heartbeat of God is that all people must be saved and come to the knowledge of HIM "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Pet 3:9).
Therefore the task of the ministry is huge to reach many people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank God hundreds of ministers are involved in reaching the lost, spreading the gospel and winning souls for Jesus. The ministry team is also involved to meeting other churches, developing networks and to encouraging one another. It is also done in giving out free Bibles, distribution of Literatures, Tapes and Christian Books. We organize open air crusades, conventions and seminars to proclaim the name of Jesus. The ministry also focuses on giving live skills to people through training and workshops. There is a great need in our poor and small villages to give awareness about health, protecting environment and hygiene etc.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
Request for our crusades and conventions we usually hire the TENTS, if we have our own then other ministers can also make use of this for God's Glory. We need our own tents cost $2500.
