Statement of Faith

God

We believe in one God, who is manifested in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of heavens and earth. The God of the Bible is Omnipotent (Jer 32:17; Rm 16:20), Omnipresent (Job 28; Ps 137:12) and Omniscient (1 Jn 3:20; Prv 15), (Deut 6:4-5; Rm 3:30; 1 Cor 8:6; Jam 2:19).

The Scriptures
The Bible is the divine Word of God. It is "God Breathed" therefore it is free from errors and contradictions (2 Tim 3:16, 2 Pet 1:21). It is the one and the only infallible, complete, authoritative and trustworthy truth for mankind.

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Word (God), who became a Man. We believe in His virgin birth. He came into this world as a Redeemer for all mankind. He was sinless, perfect, crucified, buried, resurrected, ascended and glorified. He will come again in glory to judge the world and to reign in righteousness.

Man, Fall and Redemption
The Man is a created being, made in the image of God. Through Adam's disobedience and fall, sin came into the world (Rm 3:23). Jesus Christ, the Son of God conquered sin and death. Through His shedding of the blood, He redeemed man and restored man back to God (Rm 5:14).

Baptism
Baptism in water is by immersion only. It is not necessary for salvation. It is a public declaration of one's faith. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection (Rm 6:4; Col 2:12, Acts 8:36).

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. He is the counsellor. The Holy Spirit is called as God (Acts 5:3-4), Eternal (Heb 9:14), Omnipotent (Lk 1:35), Omniscient (Jn 14:26; 1 Cor 2:10) and Omnipresent (Ps 139:7-10).

The Church
The Church is the body of Christ. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers. The church of Jesus Christ is built on the foundation of apostles and prophets (1 Pet 2:4-6). All believers are joined into this church by faith in Jesus Christ as the Saviour.

Return of Jesus
We believe in the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead and to reign in righteousness. Jesus died, rose again and coming again to take His Bride (Lk 21:25; Rev 19).
